Falafel Recipe
Get ready to savour the deliciousness of our homemade falafel recipe! Made with soaked chickpeas, aromatic spices, and fresh herbs, these crispy falafel balls are a must-try for any food lover.
Ingredients
- Chickpeas (1 cup) – soaked for 24 hours 1/2 cup of spelt or other flour
- Onion (1) – diced
- Garlic (1 clove) – minced
- Paprika (1/2 tsp)
- Coriander (1 tsp)
- Cumin (1/2 tsp)
- Turmeric (1 tsp)
- Parsley (handful) – finely chopped
- Sea salt (1 tbsp)
- Sunflower oil for deep frying
Method
Soak the chickpeas for 24 hours. Discard water. Do not cook them. Add them straight into a food processor. Add in the other ingredients and blend all the ingredients together.
Form into balls and deep fry.
