The school lies five miles south of Totnes, Devon. Close to the village of Harbertonford. Our address is:

How to Find Us
Getting Here by Train
Totnes Railway Station has a main line with direct services to Bristol, London, Birmingham and the North. There is a taxi rank at the station, but you could also try: Tony’s Taxis 07771 584949, ABC Taxis 07799 633385, Avon Cabs 07833 558813, Connect Cabs 07443-518087.
There are also roughly hourly buses from Totnes to Harbertonford, a village two miles from the school, from which you could walk to the school. Click here for bus timetables from Totnes to Harbertonford. It is around a two mile walk from there.
It is also possible to cycle to the school from the railway station, roughly 5 miles, although there are some steep hills on the way! There is a shower you can use at the school.

Getting Here by Road
Please note that some Sat Navs do not work all the way to Murtwell House. If you enter Murtwell House Diptford, Google Maps should locate it accurately.
From Totnes
Take the A381 Kingsbridge road south, in 3 miles you will reach the village of Harbertonford. There is a garage on your left, then a church on your right – turn right straight after the church into Woodland Lane, signed Diptford.
After 1 mile take a left turn signed Diptford into a small lane. Go over the bridge and up the long hill. You will pass Little Greyhills on the left and Omaka on the right – keep going! After 1.1 miles take a right turn into another lane – sign posted ‘Murtwell’.
Go down the lane for 0.4 of a mile and Murtwell House is on your right. You can either park in the drive or go on for another 50 yards and there is additional parking on the right.
From Plymouth
Coming along the A38, take the turnoff to South Brent and Avonwick, immediately after the Shell garage. At the end of the slip road turn right signed to Avonwick. In 0.2 mile turn left to Avonwick.
In 1.4 miles you will be in the small village of Avonwick, go straight through and after 1.5 miles there is a crossroads called Shorter Cross, take the right turning signed Diptford. In a few hundred yards you reach a junction – turn right.
After 2.2 miles you will see two big barns on the right with Dcuk name on. Straight afterwards there is a crossroads – turn left signed Murtwell. Go down the lane for 0.7 miles and then turn left into another lane – sign posted ‘Murtwell’.
Go down the lane for 0.4 of a mile and Murtwell House is on your right.
From Exeter
Come along the A38, and take the Marley Head turn off to Paignton, South Brent and Avonwick.
At the end of the slip road you reach a roundabout – take the third exit into Webland lane. After 50 meters bear left signed Diptford. Follow this lane for approximately 1.4 miles – it twists and turns!
You will come to a junction with a main road – go straight across into a lane signed Diptford. In a few hundred yards you reach a junction – turn right.
