Enriching, Experiential Learning In Devon
Join us for three days of learning, experience and fun in a fabulous retreat centre in Devon countryside. Learn how to connect deeply with your body through movement and dance, to listen to your heart’s own guidance and wisdom, to eat in a way to nourish your body and soul that also takes care of the planet, and enjoy opening your voice and making music.
Who Is This Event For?
This event is designed for anyone that would like to explore living from the heart, and nourishing their souls with conscious eating and a deeper connection to themselves, others and the planet. Individuals, couples and families are welcome.

You'll be joining a ground of around 25 participants on a programme of enriching workshops, great food, socialising and time to relax and unwind.

The Three Day Programme
5-6pm Arrival and registration

7.30 - 9pm Orientation, practicalities and starting the journey
8-9am Morning movement and dance
10am - 12.30pm Moving into our hearts, increasing our love for ourselves and others
3.30 - 4.45pm Conscious Eating – how to eat for physical health with balanced plant based foods
5 - 6.15pm Conscious Eating – how to eat to develop our consciousness, feeding the world and living in harmony with the planet
6.30pm Sharing supper
8-10pm Indoor or outdoor drumming circle
8 - 9am Morning stretch and yoga class
10am - 12.30pm Exploring embodiment and connection and how to create healthy emotional boundaries
3.30 - 4.45pm Liberating your voice and heart
5.00 - 6.30pm Hands-on cooking class
6.30pm Sharing supper
8-10pm Acoustic music performance
10 - 11.30am Bringing spirit into daily life: contacting and listening to your soul, and how to live a soulful life
12 - 1pm Finishing time with movement, sharings, finishing circle and goodbye ritual
3pm Goodbyes and heading home energised.
Teachers and Team
The team is led by Oliver Cowmeadow and Lynn Hyde, with Lara Holmes teaching cooking and providing sumptuous food for the three days, Tahra O’Brien with morning exercise, plus Voice Work, Drumming Circle and Acoustic Music leaders.
Tahra O'Brien Lara Holmes
Oliver will be bringing his 40 years experience of Oriental philosophy and medicine and the macrobiotic approach to health and spiritual living to his teaching. He has been working with groups for 30 years bringing people into deeper contact with themselves, their own healing, and spiritual connection. He guides on how to live from the heart and soul. He has also guided thousands of clients towards greater health and emotional freedom.
Lynn is a qualified therapist working with individuals and couples for over 14 years. She is particularly interested in deepening relationships, cultivating presence, being embodied and sexuality. She works holistically, often supporting people to change their lifestyle, their diet and self care. She runs movement and self development workshops on deepening connection with self and others and non-sexual touch. She works with a unique combination of fun, lightness and depth.

Music Workshop Leaders
Allan has been drumming for over 20 years and regularly travels to West Africa for a healthy dose of inspiration. Join the drum circle for a moment of connecting to one another through the rhythm - together we can create a strong vibration. This is a hands on music making experience for people of all backgrounds and abilities.
Helen Yeomans has been teaching choirs and singing groups for almost twenty years, and is known for her warm, inclusive style. She has carved her reputation by writing all the music for Glorious Chorus, her Devon choir, which has performed at some of the most prestigious festivals and venues including Glastonbury Festival & The Roundhouse, London. Her songwriting has won her international awards and her music is sung by choirs all around the world - literally! Her singing workshop 'Liberating your voice and heart' will be for everyone, regardless of experience. Expect a variety of music styles, easy harmonies and complete upliftment.
An eargasmic stroll down the corridors of classic/alternative rock while tickling the armpits of folk and funk with an acoustic guitar.
Our centre is tucked into a quiet country location 5 miles from Totnes, with stunning countryside all around and set amidst beautiful gardens. We have a stunning teaching kitchen, lovely workshops spaces and our own vegetable gardens.
£185 per person. This includes three organic vegan meals a day specially prepared by our head chef Bini Sharman.
