This is a 4-week course of online cooking demonstrations and lessons with macrobiotic cook, Lara Holmes. She will show you how to create a range of delicious wholesome, dairy and refined sugar-free desserts and sweet foods. There will be a variety of recipes from cakes and biscuits to fruit jellies, tarts and mousses for all occasions and seasons.
Desserts don't have to be unhealthy and we don't have to sacrifice on taste to make them nutritious. For many years now, macrobiotic desserts have been enjoyed the world over, providing pleasure and comfort to many people without relying upon dairy or refined sugar. Lara has herself brought up her family using the sugar-free and dairy-free recipes on this course. These desserts really deliver on taste, are sumptuous and our students tell us how much they enjoy them.
All the recipes and videos of the classes are provided so you can practice at home with guidance or watch another time if you cannot attend live.
