While we all weather the storm with the coronavirus, we are offering a range of online courses that you can take from the comfort of your own home. We have chosen subjects that we think will be particularly useful at this time, helping you stay healthy and helping families to eat, exercise and live well.

All classes are live so you can ask questions and receive individual guidance.

Natural Health Courses Online

If you are stuck at home this is an ideal time to learn some new skills to increase your health and strengthen your body’s defences to infections. We know that some of you will be busier than ever caring for others or keeping businesses afloat, but if you find you have more time than usual, this could be an ideal time for reassessing your habits and upping your whole approach to looking after your health. Learning a healthier way of eating and living can last you a lifetime.

Courses That Bring Us Together And Boost Our Health

These courses will be live just as if you were here together in a room. We use video conferencing, so that the teacher and everyone on a course can see each other and speak to the group. So you can ask questions and at times we will have discussions in the groups between all participants.

In all our courses we want to give individual guidance to all the participants. We are not only teaching some great knowledge but we also very much want to help you apply this practically in your own lives.

How These Courses Work Practically

For each course you will be emailed a set of course notes with essential information and recipes. Each class will be recorded so you can re-watch it later, or if you miss a class you can watch it at another convenient time.

To join these courses you will need a computer or other device and be in a place with a reasonable strength broadband internet connection. When you have signed up for a course, you will be sent a link to put into your search engine to connect you to the Zoom video conferencing. You will have to follow a few steps to register with Zoom (no cost involved) and then you are in!

The first class of all courses will start 15 minutes early to give anyone not already familiar and registered with Zoom to do this. If you have problems, please email or ring the school so we can help you get connected. We have run a number of online courses before and most people find it a simple process to join. If you are very new to this, you could register with Zoom beforehand, and read more on how it works.

We realise that many people will be struggling financially during these times, if paying the full course fee up front is difficult for you, and a monthly payment scheme would be easier, please email us for details.

Physical and Emotional Health - Six Steps To Wellbeing

Dates: Starting 9th February 2021

This in-depth course with school principal Oliver Cowmeadow will take you though six key areas of your health, and how to heal a range of health problems and emotional difficulties in each.

The course is limited to 10 participants to give everyone time for personal questions and guidance. You will receive over 120 pages of notes, recipes and practical exercises for you to use at home.

Many people have found this course to be a turning point in experiencing greater health and wellbeing. This course can also be taken as a prerequisite for joining our first year Holistic Nutrition for Body and Soul course.

Healthy Plant-Based Cooking

Dates: Starting 20th January

5 x 2 hour classes, £120.

This course will show you how to create healthy plant based meals using nutritious whole foods. Learn how to make healthy foods look amazing and taste fantastic.

Cooking is an essential foundation for our health. The foods we choose, and how we cook them, can either make us ill and create disease, or move us towards greater health and freedom from sickness. Lets choose to eat to create health for ourselves and all we are cooking for.

And eating healthily does not mean spending a fortune on highly priced ‘special foods’. Rather the healthiest way of eating is to cook the basic whole foods that have been used around the world for millennia – grains, beans, a range of root, round and green vegetables, seeds and fruits etc. These are not expensive foods, and you don’t have to spend a bomb to eat well, especially in these challenging times.

Five Elements In Life and Health

Dates: Starting 23rd March 2021

8 x 2.5 hr classes, £400

The Five Elements describes how all of nature moves through five different states or elements, each with its own characteristics; Water, Tree, Fire, Earth and Metal.  We can see this in our daily cycle; the night of the Water energy, the morning of the Tree energy the warmth of the Fire energy in the middle of the day, the afternoon with the Earth energy and evening energy of Metal.

This course will give a deeper appreciation of our connection to nature.  Teach how to nourish these five fundamental aspects of our bodies, emotions, mind and being.  Use the Five Element theory to help understand and heal illness, symptoms and life difficulties.  It will teach how to change your internal condition thorugh changes in diet, emotional work and lifestyle changes.  It will guide on cooking to heal imbalances in your elements and transform emotions that keep us stuck in a particular element.
